The POWERFUL BENEFITS of 5 minutes of meditation


Many people BELIEVE that to get any BENEFITS of meditation you should take part in a serious discipline of at least a 20 minute or more session at least daily.

But the facts are even 5 MINUTES or less in MEDITATION, can be hugely BENEFICIAL if you use the right meditation skills.

As a stress coach and meditation teacher of over 12 years, I realised very quickly that many of my clients and students WANTED & NEEDED a meditation technique, that could fit into the busiest days and work FAST.

At the beginning of my teaching journey, I was asked to teach a local secondary school, the challenge was on, how to make meditation teenage friendly. I eventually came across a Qi Qong style meditation, which I tailored for my use. This 5 minute meditation technique became my most popular technique for 12 years and it takes just over 4 minutes, a wee bit different from the more Traditional based Meditation styles such as Transcendental and Mantra Meditation although like all meditation there is an aspect of Mindfulness within it.

As most of my work is about supporting people let go and manage their stress, these clients can be very ANXIOUS, HIGHLY STRESSED, so wants to see tangible result, quite quickly.

4. It can be used as a very quick wee afternoon POWER NAP

5. It can easily be incorporated into the busiest of days

6. It encourages the body into BALANCE, encourages HEALTHIER SLEEP patterns.
