Are you on the verge of Burn out?

Sadly more & more people are experiencing the serious SYMPTOMS of Burnout... I see so many clients in a place of despair, exhaustion, overwhelment. Here are the most popular reasons for BURNOUT.

1. TOO MUCH stimulation...Stimulation comes in all disguises; from the Toxins we consume such as Caffeine, Sugar, Alcohol…, the TOXINS we breathe in...and External devices such as TV, Computers, mobile phones, computer games, lighting, sound…OVER EXPOSURE especially at bedtime, locks the body into hyper-arousal state making it difficult for the mind, body and emotions to SWITCH OFF and RELAX.

2. Lack of Deep Quality SLEEP... Quality Sleep is vital to repair the body, when we don’t get enough quality sleep, our mind, emotions and mental state suffers. Our body NEEDS REST & RELAXATION.

3. POOR Nutrition...Poor Diet lacking in Nutrients and full of stimulants causes spikes and falls in blood sugar, causes lower immunity and dis-harmony within the body’s natural chemistry.

4. Lack of Self Love.. Do you really love yourself enough to address your worth, your needs, your value… ? If we don’t love our self enough we don’t set clear enough boundaries, we expect less and do more for others and are more likely to no 4. Self Love is the most important KEY to keeping us truly happy & healthy.

5. Lack of Assertiveness...Can’t SAY NO ? Lacking Boundaries ? Leads to over commitment, taking on too many jobs and responsibilities, increases pressure and no ME time.

6. Lack of Delegation, Prioritises...Over work, over burdened, whether its a family or work situation, DELEGATION & PRIORITISATION are important stress management strategies, lack of it leads to DOING TOO MUCH.

7. Lack of Self Care…You put everyone else’s needs and wants before yourself, maybe trying to be all things to all people. Do you make sure everyone has their needs and wants met… ? But simply forget about yourself ? Basic Self Care Skills are needed for SURVIVAL and RESILIENCE. When we stop caring for ourselves, we are depleting ourself of Basic Human Needs that help us to grow, function and INCREASE our SURVIVAL RESILIENCE.

8. Healthy Thinking…Most Stress, Anxiety & Burn Out is caused by distorted unhealthy thinking about the past or the future. CBT is extremely useful in creating healthier thinking patterns.

9. Living in the PAST or FUTURE ? ANXIETY & STRESS is caused by living in the past or future. But when we are in the MOMENT, the PRESENT, we are only focusing on the present ACTION and or ACTIVITY, not the what if’s, should be’s…or the major disasters our mind IMAGINES & FEARS.

10. Not LIVING your PURPOSE, PASSION....Doing a job that doesn't fit with you, can be a major reason for unhappiness, it can seriously deplete our energy or can be a major cause of built up resentment, frustration and or apathy. Even doing a HOBBY you LOVE with replenish a JOY FOR LIFE.
